The International Kids House was formed in 2003 and is a women-owned business. As parents ourselves, we know how important it is to trust the people responsible for the care and education of your children. We know that quite often being familiar with only one culture is not enough for children to communicate with their playmates, especially if the kids were either born in or just came from another country. Knowing that there may be other points of view and that other behavioral patterns would help children to enlarge their horizon, to make friends and be happy, we saw a need for an institution that would provide a bilingual environment for kids of Russian descent.
International Kids House provides educational programs in both Russian and English languages. Truly bilingual cultural environment of our school enhances child’s understanding and acceptance of the complexity of the world, multi-cultural differences and similarities. We aim at early development of creativity and innovation in child through insertion into bilingual environment; which enables the child to mature with embracement of cultural specifics, acceptance of different points of view, and ultimately leads to a non-violent and non-discriminative behavior and respectful relationships.
We want to give parents the comfort of knowing their children will be safe and happy while developing the foundational skills for a productive life.
